PRODUCT CARE
Merino wool is super low maintenance and easy to care for.
Unlike synthetic materials, merino has amazing antibacterial properties and odour resistance, so you can wear your Vedomme pieces over and over again before washing.
To freshen up your knitwear, we recommend hanging it out to aerate for a couple of hours. Merino wool is naturally self-cleaning, so you can avoid unnecessary washing by simply airing out your piece between wears.
How to wash
If you do need to machine wash your Vedomme, simply follow the below steps.
1. Turn your Vedomme piece inside out before washing
2. Use a mild and gentle wool detergent
3. Set your cycle to the wool setting on cold
4. Dry flat in the shade
Pilling
If you notice some pilling on your Vedomme pieces, this is completely normal for natural fibres. Merino wool is super fine and after wear, the delicate fibres can often tangle together causing ‘pills’.
To remove any unwanted pills, you can do this gently by hand but if you want to be more thorough we recommend a pilling comb or an electric fabric shaver. Once all pilling has been removed, you’ll notice your knitwear looks brand new again and feels even softer than before.
